    it was meant in partly in an answer to your query about how does a
    mystical experience differ from a religious one (individual vs. human),
    and ended up saying as an atheist I can still value religious quality,
    in comparison to another (albeit far more accomplished, and famous)
    intellectual, who can't.

    Too voluminous and full of tangential meanderings maybe, but not, I
    think, completely off topic. ;-)
