    Hello everyone,

I think that one point, concerning the inorganic, is that the physical inorganic are bound by the laws of science. However, other inorganic constructs (social systems) have coherence.

I don't think that the physical inorganic (i.e.rock) can directly respond to Quality, considering that they are innate (for the most part). However, I don't think that this means we should count "them" out of the DQ-SQ relation (coherence).

Maybe we can discuss how this could be so?

Platt said :Mountains, rocks, pebbles, sand, wind, snow, rain and mud puddles all change as a result of natural forces that have long been identified by scientists. Dynamic Quality is a "wondrous occurrence" that happens
unexpectedly. It plays no part in changing the shape of mountains.

POOT:Well, I do think that it would. As to what degree, I wouldn't be able to tell you, but I think that random occurences, which impact the formations, would be an example of DQ. The way that the Static patterns of cause and effect react _with_ these random occurences, or ever changing(DQ) variables (weather), can have very unique, and wondrous results (exceptional coherence).

Examples (staying with the formations;) can be found where I live, in Ontario. The great Canadian Shield, was shaped by the receding glaciers, thousands of years ago, and over time, due to static patterns of cause and effect, AND their intertwined relationship with random/unpredictable occurences (DQ), which are "outside" of static patterns.

Platt: The mistake is to assume all change occurs in response to DQ. Watching the tide come in should disabuse anyone of that notion.

Poot: The tide changes, constantly, but is part of pattern, nonetheless. I still think that there is a degree of coherence in this. It may be 99% static patterns (low-tide, high-tide, ad infinitum), but there is still that 1% of the dynamic, which shows itself in the unexpected.
