Dear Calvin,

capital punishment is an example (or else, why the controversy?), which is
why i made the split in the first place. as for where it lies, where else
could it be? i must admit i don't believe in souls or spirits or whatnot, so
(even regardless) the brian is the only place it could be. and whetehr or
not it exists was basically what got me started into thinking about it; not,
obviously, i assume it does, or why would i be wasting my time?'
According to me and according to the MoQ as I understand it morality is not
to be found primarily in the brain. Its primary split is between Dynamic and
static morality. Secondarily static morality can be split in four: inorganic
(against chaos), biological (against inorganic degenerating forces), social
(against biological degenerating forces) and intellectual (against social
degenerating forces). Social morality can be found in (the stability and
versatility of) behavioural patterns. Intellectual morality can be found in
(the stability and versatility of) patterns of ideas as expressed by people.
With friendly greetings,
Wim
