Hi Mark, David M, and all,

joe: thanks, Mark, for your responses to my questions. "Am i catching your
drift?" is repeated. I am sorry for being obtuse. My excuse is that
conjecture and obscurity may be a part of mystical exploration. One aspect
of coherence deals with mystical dq. "Coherence is high aesthetic."

A while ago someone posted a link to Jame's "The Bicameral Mind". I skimmed
through it, and one conment stuck. I don't remember has words but IMO the
gist was: a good theory is wrong in some particulars, otherwise questions
    are stifled. I don't like Rorty's pragmatism.

IMO Dq is mystical evolution. Evolution has patterned four levels. I want
to talk about David M's example of the football Goaaaaaal, in terms of
speed. Intellect is slow. Learning to use a clutch at first is
painstaking. Identifying relationships is faster. Jumping to block the
defender is fastest than a speeding bullet. Mystical dq loses speed through
the levels on the way up. Why? IMO there are differences in speed of
'awareness'. Coherence has a movable throttle!, or maybe there are a lot of
    crashes?

Mark 22-4-04: Hi Joe, You write in a style i like, but i sometimes may miss
    the point? Please forgive me?
This post from David M is one i find interesting also, and you have been
    thinking about it too.
"Mystical dq loses speed through the levels on the way up."
I have singled out this sentence because i don't agree with it. Unless i have
    misunderstood you Joe?
Intellectual activity like maths and physics more Dynamic than physical
biological skill? Intellectual activity is so fast we sometimes call it's creative
aspect intuition? And that intuitive sense is high coherence and beautiful.
Have you ever noticed a footballer shoot for goal having not appeared to have
looked where the target is? The footballer has a sense of where the goal
envelope is in the same way a musician has a sense of the finger board envelope?
Intelligence may be surpassed here; like the Zen archer who allows the shot
to leave the bow as a water droplet leaves the flower petal, so the footballer
looses his shot by opening completely up to DQ. I have a feeling this is a
state where SQ-SQ tension is exceptionally coherent - excellence - 'the beautiful
    game' as football is known?

    All the best,
    Mark
