Well I'm not a detractor of corporations. As for cultural elite, it
depends on whom you mean. I'm not enchanted at all by the so-called avant-
garde, but am enthralled by any concert pianist who can make me break out
in goosebumps when playing such warhorses as Rachmaniov's 2nd piano
concerto, even though I've heard it many, many times.
