I can't agree with you. I'm don't paint for someone else. Painting is a
very solitary experience. I'm finding my own style based on my own
internal dialogue. Painting is like life. When painting I play with lost and
found edges, and so too in life. It's a struggle, but I love it.
Hi MarshaV I'm Joe. I sing in the chorus at the local Junior College, and
for a Church choir. I agree I sing for myself. I have always been a
loudmouth, singing. It wasn't until I retired from plumbing with a
disability that I have become interested in how I shape vowels with my
mouth, how I close vowels, how I enunciate consonants. I use a Cpap machine
at night for sleep apnea, so I have a strong diaphragm. I have been very
fortunate to find someone to show me vocal traditions, and be willing to
spend time with me, for a price, of course. All of these elements add to
the mix of how I sing.
I enjoyed Mark M's description of his dance with the camera. I accept that
I am important to the music I make.
