Vogelstein,
You're right. I should think for myself. You should
take your own advice as well and at least come up with
some original insults. Simply turning around one
intended for you and sending it back my way is the
height of lazyness.
Here's the definition of your religion:
"Cosmotheism is a religion which positively asserts
there is an internal purpose in life and in the
cosmos, and there is an essential unity, or
consciousness that binds all living beings, and all of
the inorganic cosmos, as one. And what our true
identity is: we are the cosmos, made self-aware and
self-conscious by evolution. Our undeniable human
purpose, is to know and to complete ourselves as
conscious individuals, and also as a self-aware
species, and thereby to co-evolve with the cosmos
towards total and universal awareness, and towards the
ever-higher perfection of consciousness and being."
I find nothing wrong with this core statement of your
religion's beliefs. The bits about evolving towards
universal awareness, the purpose in all things,
consiousness at the inorganic level, and the positvie
striving towards excellence is completely harmonious
with a Metaphysics of Quality, and in fact is so
seamless that it's hard to tell the difference between
the religion and the metaphysics, something we never
see in the SOM world. So that's something to be pretty
excited about, Paul, but you can see pretty clearly
that the racist sideline that Cosmotheism promotes
turns the whole of it rotten to the core, and it must
be discarded. Luckily the MOQ does not have this
defect as one of its side beliefs (or so I've been
assured), so for this reason I continue to embrace the
MOQ while jettisoning the embarrassment called
Cosmotheism.
