    Scientists are people too. There was a time when science was rife with
    racism. Though I'm not a scientist so I don't know for sure, I suspect it's
    still a huge advantage to be male and white and not necessarily in that
    order.

    Anyway, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings about the thought experiment.
    Sorry if I came on too strong.
