I've always loved Marx' statement of :
"From each according to his ability
and to each according to his need."
It has always fit with practical rural western conservatism. It is
how the farm and ranch folk and small towns often behave.
(Of course I might feel different if a man with a machine gun
were inerpreting it literally as TRUTH instead of as a moral
guideline.)

I am not articualte enough on that point...search Wired.com for
their articles on money and banking -- interesting stuff.
There is a quote to the effect that money goes where it is well
treated in world markets.

Not yet, my wife is determined to buy a couple of bikes
and cruise backroads. I still have gravel under my skin from
a bad off road --low quality experience. She likes V-Rods
so far...
