David Lane's critique of Wilber's views on evolution is a case of the pot
calling the kettle black. He accuses Wilber of exaggerating by
exaggerating even more.
The fact is that evolution as espoused by Dawkins, Gould, Wilson et al

Just as science cannot explain how neural activity creates
consciousness, it cannot explain how the complexity of bacteria could
have been formed through evolution.
