Time moving forward is not affected by anything you might say!!!!

Yes read the article , thought I'd try it it out myself, So I opened the
nearest manhole cover shone a torch down and whaddayaknow, the light was
stopped dead in it's tracks at the bottom of the manhole!!

Amazing Not!!

But to be serious you've missed the point the laser pulse moved away from
the laser at the speed of light C, that it was slowed down after this, is
neither here nor there.
