Roger
I feel like I walked out in the middle of our discussion. I wanted you
to justify your assumption that static quality is a map and dynamic is
reality. There doesn't seem to be time now, but I guess it'll come up
again.
In summing up this month's discussion, I've been very glad to see that
many others share my direct experiential understanding of DQ. Even if we
can't exactly say what it is I'm convinced that we're all talking about
the same thing.
The conceptual, objective, classical, whateveryouwantocallit
understanding of DQ is proving a bit more difficult. I cringe every time
I hear the phrase "cutting edge of reality". I know it's a direct quote,
but in LILA that quote has a context. Taken out of context the words can
mean just about anything you want them to. And because the meaning is so
vague it becomes impossible to argue with. However I'm sure I live to
fight that battle again another day.
