Yes, but not too easily. I like the way it's done in the U.S., requiring
proposed changes be submitted to all state legislatures for a vote.

I disagree. But, we've been around that block before.

Education based largely on fear, fear, fear I would guess. :-)
I think both of us are leery of the "state infringing on peaceable
individuals," whether motivated by the social welfare left or the praise
God right. In other words, we're probably closer on many issues than this
exchange of posts would indicate. Still, this business of social morals
requires I think a constant examination going back to the basic
foundations of one's beliefs. At least that's what "an inquiry into
morals" means to me.
