    Hi Arlo,

Don't waste all that good? beer.

    arlo:
I had not known this about the Carter administration, and it sickens
me. But it is proof, like you've suggested. Now if you'll excuse me,
I'm gonna go pour my stash of Billy Beer down the drain.

    msh:
Compared to the other presidents, Carter is a cherub and, all in all,
a positive force in the world. I like to tell myself that, had the
Carter of the mid 80's and 90's been president in 1977, things might
have been different. Maybe not, but it's nice to imagine.

    Best,
    Mark Steven Heyman (msh)
