Hi Robert, and all,
Just a quick note to say thanks for your thoughts, and that I like
your idea of our uploading our intellectual program from our
cultures. Probably just the Computer Sci guy in me. This seems to
me just about right on, or spot on if you're a Brit. Opening
ourselves up to the programs of other cultures, that is, speaking
geek, creating a component interface between different operating
environments, seems like a high-quality way of internetting our
species, IMHO.
Anyway, thanks for your comments, and for proving my point that there
are a whole lot of intelligent list-lurkers out there.
Hope to hear more from you.
Best,
Mark Steven Heyman (msh)

As to a 'collective conscienceness' that is the only conscienceness there is, because your mind is not yours, it's ours. Mind is one thing. Each culture shares the same mind, because it shares the same language and the same ideas. If you disagree, tell me with what you think if not with words. Your body did not invent those words. You 'uploaded the program' from the culture. 'Your' mind and the program are the same thing. We all share the same program.
