Mark you use the word "political" 3 or 4 times in your brief post.

Ok, but I left out that I almost always tie my political thinking
into the MOQ hierarchy of morality and other principles of the
Metaphysics of Quality. As do Ant, Sam, Arlo, and even The Old
Plant. People who carefully read what we write will be aware of
this. If you think politics has nothing to do with the quality of
life then you're not paying enough attention to what happens at the
Social Level.

Resign ? Never.
Exclude Platt ? probably the best of a bad binary choice.
msh:
Excluding anyone from expressing his or her opinion is ALWAYS the
worst of all actions. Anywhere, any time.
ian:
Until then dismissive ridicule is better than diginification with
serious analysis, as I've said repeatedly. Humour is in fact usually
the best solution. Come on all you Bill Hicks fans, practice what you
preach. Rip him to shreds.
msh:
I can do both, at the same time. Whatever serious analysis I provide
is written for the web. If a few listers appreciate my efforts, then
more the better.
