Fair. My only objection to your eudaimonic thesis is that it takes what I
see as an overly narrow view of intellect. To me, 4th level art, for
example, is a variety of intellect, one that uses a different medium than
discursive prose. Hence, I see no problem with calling the 4th level the
intellectual level or as the level of the autonomous individual, since by my
definition, they are one and the same.
By the way, what do you think of "value fulfillment" as a translation of
'eudaimonia'?
