Hi Squonk and Matt,
I think DQ is an analogy for limits of our knowledge.
To not be an analogy, something has to be what it means. The only thing
that is what it means is The Word. AKA, morality, quality, the whole
universe.

Sq: Hello, fair enough, My point is that we value analogy, and the value
comes first. If we did not experience the value of analogy then a page full of
writing would appear uniform. That is most important.
A pragmatist of the Matt ilk may argue for social approval and all that - but
social approval comes after immediate value. That is important too, and it
makes all the difference between him and me.
