Hi Rick,
Regarding legal definitions of adultery and how it relates to divorce, you
have shown me with your citations that civil understanding of adultery in
divorce cases is indeed different from the actual crime of adultery. For
example, an adulterer doesn't have to be married, and the marriage needn't
divorce. So there seems to be a crime of adultery, and a form of the word
used in civil cases that is really "the appearance of sexual intimacy and
unfaithfulness")
Thanks for your explanations, they have been enlightening (to a point, i'm
still conviced sexual intercourse is integral to marriage and adultery).
Johnny
