    Hello Scott,
I apologise for not answering your points.
If you feel after this i am still avoiding your points, then please hammer me
on it, because i do not wish to avoid anything. I assure you.

I feel the S/O divide is an awareness of a difference in values. The most
obvious difference is biological and social. So, the S/O divide has been around
for hundreds of thousands of years.
If you cannot value the sight, sounds and smells of the opposite sex then you
    are in trouble.
If you cannot value the dominant leaders in your social group you are in
    trouble.

Old languages represents this, and are full of such distinctions. Language
has developed the space you talk of for hundreds of thousands of years.

All the while this is going on, intellect is at work building a survival
advantage. Language has quantity predicates going back into prehistory, and there
is a distinction between left and right. Greenlanding counting is a good
example of this, and it in base ten.

So, the claim that ancient Greece saw the emergence of subjects and objects
is quite frankly ludicrous. What did happen was a very severe emphasis - a
world shattering mistake of making these divisions permanent like the Gods. Its an
artistic creation, and primarily an aesthetic one. You simply do not need a
SoM to do maths or geometry, and the S/O divide is certainly not a prerequisite
for another level in the MoQ.

Skutvik claims the intellect is reason. That's his view. It is not mine, and
having attended his thoughts closely i am further away from agreement now than
ever before. And, i do feel his views have potentially dreadful consequences.

    Please accept my apologise Scott?
I assure you i have said this before, and if you feel i am being unfair,
please do not let me get away with it.
    All the best,
    squonk
