    Dear David M.,

In reply to your 18 Nov 2003 19:16:37 -0000 contribution:
Pirsig's 'metaphysics game' does not only 'dance all around the concept of
DQ', but also around the definible sq. As sq is definable, it tends to be
over-emphasized. Hence all our talk about (defining) levels, patterns of
value etc. It's comparable to a theology that denies that one can say
anything meaningful about God and therefore concentrates on refining
    religious rituals.

    With friendly greetings,

    Wim
