    Yeah, I see that you are continuing to extend the conversation metaphor to nature. Aside from that, I see no difference that makes a difference between what you wrote in the last post and the pragmatist line. Pragmatists have no problem with "grand narratives" as long as a grand narrative is differentiated from a meta-narrative. I don't see the point in adding the word "grand," but hey, it doesn't matter all that much as long as it doesn't reach for "meta-" status.
