Dear Forum,
Bo asserts: Reason = SoM.
If Sanity = Reason,
Then, Sanity = SoM.
Therefore, the Buddha, and all creative activity (dissolution of self) is
insane.
The divisiveness of Bo's assertions may lead to the discrimination of Dynamic
artistic patterns and cultures by those who share his limited view of
rationality.
Mark asserts: Reason is one species of coherent intellectual aesthetic
(beautiful)* response to Quality.
If SoM is a product of reason,
Then, SoM is less than reason can delineate.
Therefore, reason, being more than SoM can delineate, may indicate that SoM
is a matter of preference - to be rejected for a more coherent response to
Quality.
It would appear sanity is a pejorative term used by limited intellectual
patterns of value in order to confer social status over those of a more Dynamic
Artistic nature. It must be noted that such Dynamic natures can be intellectual.
Thus, we see here a description of the struggle between Sophists and
Philosophers - The term Sophists includes Dynamic natures who are not limited by SoM
patterns.
All the best,
Mark
