Bo: Intellect has evolved intellectual patterns!! The problem is what
intellectual value IS as different from the value level it volved FROM.

Mark: The sum total of the repertoire is evolving in an event stream, or DQ.
The evolution of the static repertoire is towards greater coherence with DQ.

Bo: Well, DQ beckons the static evolution along, but I can't see that I have
    spoken against that tenet.

    Hi Bo and all,

joe: now that I have quoted from ZAMM, I have the urge to continue:
    "Rhetoric, 2; Dialectic, 0" (p.388 ff.)

IMO 'rhetoric' embraces the whole moral order. 'Dialectic' are analogies
from the intellectual order alone. Pirsig prefers 'rhetoric'. His
preference seems to indicate that through 'rhetoric' I can use the mythos of
my culture, and not go mad. I hear him saying that I am not advanced enough
to embrace only intellectual analogies. I accept his direction.

Pirsig is not the only one to question whether the customs and mores taught
in my educational system or my common lifestyle system are adequate to hold
me within the mythos generated by history. I have to give up something to
live free. A radical, anarchist, pacifist position is not part of my
    mythos.

IMO Pirsig's description of his interaction with the chairman of the
philosophy department indicates true intellectual integrity is absent. The
misconceptions generated through this absence are destructive to the moral
order. My position trumps all questions or contrary statements.

IMO the dynamics of the evolving moral order:
    Gravity:
        a. electromagnetic
        b. weak nuclear
        c. strong nuclear
    Purpose, food:
    Love, value:
    Freedom, quality:

Rhetoric exhibits an harmony in expression!
