I sent a reply to Steve this morning and as it pertains to your
comment here I should have included you. Regarding the above
about "other cuts" it's in the said reply to Steve, but I may add a
little something.
By saying : "..we have been very dominated" you clearly mean
that the intellectual level has been dominated. It sounds as if our
attention/focus/awareness ..whatever IS THE INTELLECT which
is a mind-interpretation and you are back in SOM.
In such a SOM view there are many things that can fill our minds
- ideas, world-views, beliefs - and such a mind-intellect has
accommodated all possible theories from Stone Age's
mythologies to Quantum Mech. but this removes all meaning
from the MOQ.

OK again: You could as well have said that ...our mind has been
so dominated ...but what possible break with SOM is the MOQ in
such a view? Zero point zero!. In the MOQ the intellect is another
STATIC level and this notion of it being able to contemplate
"other cuts" (whatever world-view) - other than the S/O - is deeply
wrong.

All this I agree profoundly with, but the MOQ can't be contained
by a static level, it is a "rebel" pattern that intellect desperately
tries to "retrieve", and you (all except Mati) seem to be intellect's
willing henchmen for some (to me) inscrutable reason. If intellect
succeeds in retrieving the MOQ, it is "defused" and made into
just another interesting idea.
