    Hi,

    For what it's worth, I think Mark's account in his essay 'The Edge of Chaos'
    gives a good account of
    how the different levels relate with each other and with DQ to experience
    Quality, aka the sweet
    spot. The difference I would argue for is the classification of the fourth
    level patterns (ie what
    they are fourth level patterns of); otherwise I think I'd agree with Mark
    below:

    Mark 17-4-04: I should wish to add that if one looks at Fig. 2 in TEOC you
    will see a black line indicating, 'Coherence across levels.'
    This is Good ensemble playing using the Orchestra analogy. It may be said to
    be Eudaimonia?
    Some may say this is a mystical view of reality? I would agree with those who
    held this view.
