Dmb's feeling of evasive tactics on the part of Sam, and every other
Christian he has ever had any dealings with resonates with my experience
also. And over this past week i have felt it all over again. There are
Theological University degrees, masters, PhD's going into tortuous
detail regarding these issues. And if that isn't a concrete example of
becoming more and more static, i am not sure what is?
Hi Mark, DMB, David M, and all,
joe: where do I find an example of a mystical connection in an intellectual
pattern? In the mystical experience of today I have a mind and body. I
have an intellect and will. I have myths. Quality inheres in the
substance. With this mystical perception I argue for a Subject Object
Metaphysics. There is no commonly accepted experience of the dynamic in
intellectual patterns. It is not just Christians that go into tortuous
detgails. Anyone who places his opinion above his existence becomes more
static.
The British Empire is not a myth! That a small island nation controlled
such a large colonial empire and mounted a military expedition against Tibet
is incredible (dynamic)? If I know a trick to pit people against each
other, then I can come in and pick up the pieces. This is not dynamic! It
is only a trick on how to control others until they learn the trick.
Can Christianity survive the MOQ? In the last century East meeting West was
a big deal. In England Peter Ouspensky (Russian), John Bennett, Rodney
Collins, Maurice Nicoll and others followed the lead of George Gurdjieff
(Russian) in France. They pondered esoteric Christianity and the Scientific
evolution.
Today in Medjugorje reportedly mystic visions are occurring. Why this
tradition? In Christianity from the beginning the mystical was emphasized.
The parable of the mustard seed which though seemingly small grows into a
huge tree in which all the birds of the air find a roost. The parable that
a little bit of yeast leavens the whole batch. The parable of the lillies
of the field which neither toil nor spin.
IMO Christianity does not neglect the mystical. Anthropomorphizing dq may
embody the static which you hate. I don't know that this is just a
Christian phenomenon. Something has hidden mystic dq since intellectual
patterns have been used. I guess it is just I.
