Hi,
Just buttin' in.
Is there a way to approach DQ without religion? I'm enjoying this thread,
and
am very familiar with ZMM and Lila, and neither of those books in any fashion
endorses anything approximating religion, as far as I can tell.
Noam Chomsky has said that he thinks it's dangerous to let one's life be
motivated by non-rational belief systems, and provides plenty of historical
evidence in support. Just wondrin' what y'all think...
Hello Mark is it?
Howdy.
Although the Metaphysics of Quality does not endorse a religion it does not
abandon the central insight of religion. All the social and Intellectual
patterns which have surrounded this insight appear to form the main body of what the
religion is rather than the insight itself?
Understanding this is a huge step forward.
I don't have any understanding of Chomsky other than a very general outline
Mark.
What do you think?
All the best,
Mark.
