    or not?

How about, it? How, about it? How about it?

    How? face palms upwards

    about? everything

    it? . . . . the ever elusive it . . .

    O.K.

So we have here, a thread about the religion of the future. I suppose this
is a viable topic, but since there will always seem to be a debate between
believers and non-believers, let us choose a different word than religion.
There are many different words to choose from, but lets leave the word
choosing until a time where it becomes necessary.

There has been talk about basing ones "faith" or trust, in the irrational.
The question I ask , in response to this, is :

Is the MoQ irrati -O- nal?

What is rational ? Well, religion's not rational, because your basing your
belief upon something which can not be proven to exist, or not exist.
Science? Well, science isn't purely rational anyways, and we all know it.

The world, which we live in, is not rational. Why try and say that it is?
Unless you look at the earth, through the dulled vision of someone
interested only in pure fact (the earth is round, has a breathable
atmosphere; animals breathe the air ---> rational)

What is rational about our current world? We humans like to think were
rational beings, but thats a load of crap.
People on one side of the world, are living in wasteful prosperity, while
    others are struggling to exist.
The real world, which takes place within the confines of our skull, isn't
    bound by rational thoughts .
Sometimes, completely irrational behaviour is enacted, with full awareness,
    yet it is still done.
This behavoiur is highlighted in what we call "childish" acts, but is ever
    present in the adult life.

I believe that being rational is important.....but to expect reality to be
drawn in the rein of rationality......I cannot accept this, and I doubt that
those on this forum wish for pure reason.

Why seek to live in pure rationality? Rationality is not reality.
Why seek to define? Definition is not reality.
Why seek to organize that which should be disorganized?
Why seek to complicate things endlessly with wars of words?

Aim to understand, to understand aim. Understand, to aim.

(for a brief moment....understand left my vocabulary and I was lost...)

back to it, faith is important. Faith is , to me, important, for many
reasons. I shall give an example, of my faith.
In the example of a dialogue
    --------------------
    Poot: so where is he?
Rob: I dont know....he's always late!
Poot: I wonder what could possibly be keeping him
Rob: it's starting to piss me off.....always waiting
    Poot: yeah...i hate waiting...
    ---time elapses with discussions---
Poot: Oh...I think he's here! go get the door
Rob get up, goes to door.
Jason: oh man......sorry I'm late guys...I was held up longer than I
    expected...
Rob: how come you were held up?
    Jason: Its a long story
Rob: alright....lets just get ready to go then.
    <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<FAITH
    ------------------

This faith, is Rob's trust in his friend Jason.

There seems to me, to be a part of human behaviour, which displays itself as
    incessant questioning...

its like someone constantly rearranging the furniture...if you never take
the time to sit in the chair and enjoy it, theres no point in ever putting
    it there.

So, I don't really know what the point of this thread is, except to expose
my ramblings. I dont know what more to say at this point besides:

       ... ... ...
YOU tell ME what you THINK
