Hi Matt & Calvin,
>Often two people can experience a bond so close, as to feel like one
>person, achieved through sex (physically), and through the mind. Is not
>the mind the most sensitive erogenous zone?
Yes, this is the moral goal. Two people having sex are supposed to believe
they have become one flesh, from now on, inseperably married. It is a
terrible modern belief, which porn both contributes to and is a product of,
that people stay individuals for their whole lives, even after a solomnized
marriage, let alone after having sex. This belief prevents people from ever
becoming fully human and complete in a marriage, even when they marry and
feel they have everything.
This is how sex, which obviously requires two people (two sexes, in fact)
remains biological. Sex is not two biological units interacting (which
would make it a social pattern), it is one fully human unit behaving
biologically. This is a moral belief that must be believed in order for it
to be true, like all things, obviously. (Homosexual interactions, I feel I
must be clear, are intellectually motivated social interactions, not
biological, as the two partners do not join biologically into one.)
As to porn, it also is an intellectual pattern. I feel it is about society
more than it is social. It comes about when social patterns of individuals
talking about biological sex are applied anonymously and universally with
the goal of changing society into another society, it is the interaction of
a society that thinks of sex as occuring on the biological level with a new
one that thinks of people as individuals and sex as being social
interaction, and porn is an intellectually conceived tool to achieve this.
