    I tend to agree with everything you said except your reputing my
    interpretation of Marx. As far as I can tell, Marx said the primary motor
    of history was economics. Obviously, that's a slogan, a simplification of
    the specifics of what he said. The specifics are what you said. But the
    slogan still fits.
