    Hi Arlo

I'm something of a music obsessive, and kind of glad you asked this question!

Thinking of ZMM, with all its contemplative and revelatory moments,
puts me in mind of one of my favourite albums, "The Earth Is Not A
Cold Dead Place" by Explosions In The Sky, an instrumental
guitars+drums band from Austin, Texas. To me, it's the sound of DQ/SQ
interaction. It'd fit perfectly into the motorcycle rides through the
    "high country", too.

Anyway, that might just be me trying to wedge in some of my favourite
music. What a ZMM film score would most need, I think, is some kind of
musical expression of the "old" America, the places the narrator rides
through that haven't been overtaken by the "death force" of SOM
    technology. Any suggestions?

As for "Another Brick in The Wall", I'd put it in at the point where
Phaedrus is on the brink of insanity, and mixed in with his encounters
with the Chairman. Of course, that could just be down to the fact that
most of Floyd's stuff after "Dark Side Of The Moon" drives me a bit
    insane :)

    Anyway......

    Regards,
    Mike
