I think the interesting thing is this, when the individual formulates
the new intellectual patterns, I would say they do this out of some
unfelt (or felt) need of the society as a whole. The society has
problems to solve in its evolution to Quality and the only way it is
going to get its problems solved is through the careful and caring
thoughtfulness of its genius individuals.
But the interplay between society and the individual is so complex,
that I don't see any real fruit borne of wielding any sort of exacto
analytical knife divorcing the two. How is Quality served by doing
so?
