    Hi Rebecca

    Like you I find religion interesting and various texts quite fascinating even though I was
    not brought up in any faith or ever been involved in any religious practice. We
    can,of course, only understand western thought in the context of the Greek and
    Christian influences. I also find most philosophical issues and solutions appearing in
    some form in all of the phases of western thought.The different foundations of other
    cultures make them very different in form despite some points of contact.
