Hey David and Ant (and all),
Being yourself shouldn't be troublesome but the most natural thing in the
world. I think doing philosophy forces a person to be unique. If you're not
constantly questioning, stretching the limits of your mind and straining to
make some sense of the universe then you're not doing philosophy - you're
practising dogmatic religion.
Do you think the reason philosophers are so self important is because they
understand the importance of the self?
