The argument I set up--radical Islam vs.Western European socialism vs.
Judeo-Christian capitalism--is not Pirsig's but strictly my own. Sorry if
I didn't make that clear. Given that set up, which of the three would the
MOQ most likely support? That's when I brought in the Pirsig quotes.

Congress is prohibited from establishing an official religion. But the
U.S. government was founded on Judeo-Christian beliefs and values and
still openly supports them. No avowed atheist has been elected President.

Maybe I should have included Communist Dictatorships along with the other
