Makes sense to me. The ZMM part is a precursor to Pirsig's point in Lila that the MoQ is a contradiction in terms. Because the MoQ is still a metaphysics that is a monism--Quality. But as a metaphysical monism it includes both metaphysical monisms and mystical Ones. The self-reference bit merely reinforces the futility of defining the undefinable.
