    >I mean, I think, that a fact is a pattern with the
HIGHEST possible value. And that this value can be recognized by
anyone and everyone, though some may not choose to recognize it. So,
for me, it's the choosing that is subjective.

I just want to point out that people don't have a choice about whether or
not they "recognize" value or not. Depending on their experiences and
circumstances, they will either find harmony between the patterns they value
and the pattern of the new fact being considered or they won't. The new
fact's patterns will be weak with dissonance and will weaken existing
patterns with dissonance, rather than strengthening each other in harmony.
To preserve existing patterns, the new pattern must be dismissed as not a
fact, or rather, a different contrary fact wil be found which harmonizes
    more.

Harmony strengthens two patterns, for example A440 and A880 reinforce each
other and make each one more likely to resonate for a long time, but if you
throw in an out of tune note, other beats and dissonances will overwhelm the
A and the patterns won't resonate as long.

I think Beauty also reinforces existing patterns. We rarely say something
is beautiful unless there is precedent for it being beautiful, and when we
say something is beautiful, we are not only comparing it to other beautiful
things, we are re-defining beauty as being this thing, we are saying that
other beautiful things are like this new thing. In other words, saying this
is beautiful is saying that there is lots of harmony here and both this
pattern and my other patterns are reinforced and strengthed by this pattern.
