    Hi Marsha

I worked for a mid-sized insurance company for many years in middle
    management.

Management can be suffocating or inspiring. Depends on the people in
charge. In my experience, the early years were inspiring. Then top
    management changed, and suffocation began.

I don't think we can condemn all corporations, or all unions, or all
government. It's trite to say there's good and bad in every group, but
true. On balance, however, corporations are dynamic, government and unions
    static. Nevertheless, all are needed.

Incidentally, there are many artists making top money in graphic and
fashion design. Applying beauty to goods and services is high quality,
    profitable work.

    Best,
    Platt
