    Don't get me wrong here. I think that racist science has as much legitimacy as creation
    science - i.e. none. But there's a difference between being a believer in racist science
    (as per Vogel) and pushing the theory to see if it stands up. I could be wrong though.

    I'm not sure about the dangerous ideas bit (see one of my other posts). It's not the ideas
    I worry about but the practice and this is where the difference lies between Platt and
    Vogel in my opinion. The same with regard to the terms fascist and racist.
