    Yes, I'm trying to tell that SOM (which emerged as told in ZMM)
    is identical to the 4th level (perhaps avoiding "intellectual" will
    help because there must be some taboo connected with that term
    in English that make people go amok when I try to take it down
    from its "mind" peg)

    SOM goes as far as is necessary to meet the requirements for
    the 4th. level. Yours is like saying that the inorganic level should
    have gone further into the organic one, but life and death are
    incompatible.

    Exactly, "quality reality" is what transcends the 4th. level and
    from where the level system is seen. Everyone agree that SOM
    is a 4th. level pattern, thus it cannot "expand" to contain the MOQ
    they are as incompatible as the said life and death..
