Hi all,
On 18 Aug 2005 at 21:47,

evolution of SQ?" David M wrote:

How do conservative values support DQ & the evolution of SQ?????

Just a quick insert here, because I'm interested to see the answer to
this question, and don't want to derail the thread.
Anyone who reads and understands my posts will know that "an elitist
social order" is the farthest thing from my mind. Furthermore, both
Ham's and Platt's political "solutions" have been thoroughly debunked
in exchanges with myself and others. For Ham, review the recent
Chomsky thread; for Platt look at the MOQ and The Moral Society
threads. The main difference is that Ham at least tried to put up a
political/philosophical fight, while Platt's recourse is always to
evasion, distortion, and unsupported denigration of challenging
ideas.
Now even Bo has accused the so-called leftists on the list of
resorting to political correctness rather than an analyses of the
MOQ, supported with historical evidence and argument. ANYONE who
reviews any of my threads with an objective eye, including the two I
mentioned above, will see this to be untrue. If you (the generic
you) don't, then I beg you, pick up the argument for yourself, and
get back to me.
What I find kinda sad is that I'm beginning to realize that writing
to MOQ Discuss is indeed like typing into a black hole, as Matt
Kundert once told me, off-list.
These two political thinkers (Ham and Platt) have been shown to be
unable to defend their positions, yet, here they are complimenting
one another about the quality of their political posts, and wondering
why all those mean 'ol leftists don't respect them. The lack of
respect stems not from their ideas, but from their unwillingness
and/or inability to defend their ideas, followed by their relentless
repetition of same.
Anyway, David-M, it will be interesting to see if you have any better
luck with them.
